Hey peeps. It's been a few days since I posted, mostly because I've either been busy or tired, and the latter is the case tonight, with first pitch just moments away, Just a couple of things:
The issue at work apparently was forgotten over the weekend. All was well today and it was like the blow-up never even happened. Thank goodness for my coworker's short memory! She's not always the brightest bulb in the box anyway, LOL...
I am utterly exhausted right now. It's not just because Game 3 went until all hours -- I could have gotten 6+ hours of sleep if my body had cooperated, but I made the mistake of taking my "MS injection" right before the game, and the common side effect (flu symptoms) hit with a vengeance at 3:30 in the morning. I spent the next couple of hours trying to get warm, then trying to cool down. I finally did fall asleep and had some weird dreams. The only one I remember had something to do with Julio Lugo pitching and giving up two home runs. Josh was involved as well. Perhaps he was at shortstop, I dunno. Anyway, all told I probably got 3-1/2 hours of sleep...and I woke up with a migraine (also from taking that blasted injection) but went to work and pulled my full 8 hours.
Now? I am...just really tired. I'll probably watch most of the game from bed, and I'm not sure if I can stay awake for all of it. So I'll say it now, loud and clear, so loudly that y'all can hear me in New England: GO SOX!!!!!
